So It's Been a While...

So, When I got there Scott's mom, and sister were waiting at the airport to pick me up. Scott had to work the whole time I was there, except the forth of July of course. But, when I got home there was a box with my favorite snacks, Happy Feet, and a lovely note from Scott. What a peach.
Finally he came home, and after the shock of actually being with Scott again had subsided a tad, and after many many a hugs we went hiking. After an exhausting hike we went to Dominique's which is the best Itallian food I've ever tasted. Really, I'm not fibbing (what a funny word... haven't used that since I was probably 5). It was simply divine, and Olive Garden shall never be the same to me.
The next day we went to the world famous San Diego Zoo! In all honesty though, I have to say sadly I'm not as thrilled about seeing animals in cages as I once was. Most of the animals were too far away... and I think Madagascar ruined it for me... I was expecting too much of them. But, I have to say that I would have watched the Orangutangs all day if I had discovered them earlier. They were amazing. We definately had a bonding moment. This particular Orangutang delighted me when he posed so nicely for the camera... slightly Madagascar-esque.
Let's see, On the second I went shopping with Scott's sister and to my surprise there were more than a dozen roses lying on my bed. It was our 1 year and a month anniversary. Crazy Crazy Crazy. I can't believe it's been that long! Wow... Anyways, that was more than cute, it was adorable.
The next Saturday we went to SeaWorld! SeaWorld was amazing. I met my new good friend Mr. Sting Ray there that day. The Sting Ray's were possibly my favorite. Isn't that silly? I go all the way to SeaWorld, and I'm more thrilled with the sting rays than trained seals and dolphins! Anyways, I'll tell you why. You could feed and pet them! So, it was almost closing time, and one of the people that works there gave me a bunch of fish (which otherwise would have been $5) to feed them. I fed one of them, and he kept coming back for more, and would let me pet him. He did make this scary sucking noise that he's gonna have to work on... but I can look past that.. we can still be friends.
Oh yes, and we also saw the Aquarium..La Jolla beach, and Old Town San Diego... I got to see this tiny display on the Mormon Battallion. It was surprisingly interesting, but so tiny.
But the best part about San Diego of course was seeing Scott! It's amazing how the distance made such a sweet reunion. I don't reccomend it, it's not for everyone, and I still don't think it's for me. But, I had no idea my heart could beat at lightning speed until I saw Scott again for the first time!

Well... That's about all Folks... not much else as far as my trip. The countdown is too long until you know who comes home, but I'm just ecstatic that I made it over half way! Almost there!

Teri, I don't know if you ever check this anymore, but I wanted to say Happy Birthday (way late) and ask how life is. How's BYU? How's Scott?
